Back in December, I reported on a name change for Little Pickle Press. To more clearly and completely express their goal, they were changing their name to March 4th. Little Pickle Press would continue as an imprint within March 4th.
Apparently, even more changes are afoot. Sourcebooks has taken over the distribution of all Little Pickle Press titles (print, ebook, etc.) under the Jabberwocky imprint which houses all their children’s books. Little Pickle Press will become an imprint of Jabberwocky with the goal of expanding Jabberwocky’s nonfiction offerings for children.
Rana DiOrio, CEO of March 4th will remain CEO of that company while also working with the Jabberwockly and Little Pickle Press imprints to find new titles. The hope is that some of these titles will be released as early as 2018.
DiOrio sought out the deal, seeking the funding needed to increase the reach and impact of Little Pickle Press titles. March 4th will continue its own work on film and video. DiOrio asked the authors keep submitting their work both for Little Pickle and March 4th.
