Atheneum: Caitlyn Dlouhy gets New Imprint

Keep your eyes open for a new Atheneum imprint, Caitlyn Dlouhy Books, under the direction of none other than … Caitlyn Dlouhy. In her 16 years with the company, she has worked with such luminaries as Laurie Halse Anderson, Ashley Bryan, David Small, and Sharon Draper.

In addition to giving Dlouhy the honor of having an imprint under her own name, she will also have more time for what she loves — editing great books.  The imprint’s first list will appear in spring 2016 and feature everything from a picture book debut by Richard Jackson, illustrated by Kevin Hawkes; a middle grade by William Joyce titled The Lost; and Hot Pterodactyl Boyfriend, a YA title by Canadian author Alan Cumyn.

Dlouhy is looking forward to publishing new talent which is good news for all up-and-coming writers. To read the full report, click here.
