Just a silly little app to wind up the week. Whose writing does your work most resemble?
I visited I Write Like and discovered that:

Which is completely ok by me. I only wish that the editors would realize this.
Analyze your own work and post the results in the comments below.
Note: Different writing samples will yield different results. My second sample (fiction) yielded a much less pleasing result than my Doctorow sample (a blog post) so I have blotted it from my memory.

One Writer's Journey 
I write like Chuck Palahniuk? “Fight Club” Chuck Palahniuk? Can’t see how his writing style connects in any way, shape, or form to the text in my rhyming picture book. But instead of seeking to understand, perhaps I should instead seek out 20th Century Fox for a movie deal. 🙂
And try a second sample — if the first was from a picture book, try a blog post or something else radically different. You will almost certainly get a different result. Not that that is something I would divulge to 20th Century Fox.
